Someone should file suit against the city for not making the streets safer by removing obviously homeless and probably mentally unstable people from the streets were they can harm honest citizens. What the hell do you want cities to do? Reagan cut back funding back in the 1980s. That's when homeless people starting to appear everywhere........after they were released from the institutions that were housing them. What city now can afford to feed and shelter all the homeless? That's what I mean about the common good.......this country is unwilling to be responsible for its poor and sick, but its all so ready to introduce the Iraqis to democracy.......and to spend billions making it happens. Does that sound reasonable to you? I used to divide my votes between Republican and Democrats. However, if the GOP does not change, it will never happen again. I am sick of their miserable attitude....screw the poor and feed the rich. That is what the grand ole party is all about. So if you have a gripe about the homeless on the streets, tell it to the GOP...they are mostly responsible for the current mess.........them and their infamous leader, Mr. Reagan.
