tejek, re:What the hell do you want cities to do? Put them in a hospital, jail or a work program - not a free hotel like in downtown Seattle. Leaving them on the streets is dangerous, pass the laws to make vagrancy illegal and let the city wrestle with what to do with them instead of ignoring the problem like they do today. re:So if you have a gripe about the homeless on the streets, tell it to the GOP...they are mostly responsible for the current mess......... Explain Seattle, San Fransisco, Portland and LA - all are mostly Dem's - local issues are not the Feds fault - I never blamed Clinton during his eight years.
