The American people are holding the Republican congressfolks accountable who in turn has started to speak out against Bush's policies and holding Bush accountable. The Dems need to be specific on immigration, deficit budgets, Homeland Security etc. They are viewed as "tax and spend" folks. They need to provide their budget priorities in their plan. On immigration they need to outline their "America first" policy.

The Demos need to seize the opportunity and present an alternative plan and seize the moment. So we hold Bush accountable, he relents, bids his time until Nov. 2006 and then s tarts the same game all over again. Instead, the Dems should look ahead and present their plan and kick the Republicans in 2006.
