So basically he's made two decisions, 1. Regime change in Iraq 2. Tax cuts for the rich....and now he's too dumb & stubborn to get us out of either. I just can't buy your premise about GWB really being in charge, although how else would you explain the stupidity of our policy?
Well, I gave you my interpretation. Mine makes more sense in view of the concerted lack of opposition from the Democrats. Obviously, the NeoCon policy is still being backed.

He's in charge. Even the defectors from the admin. like Clarke and O'Neil say that. His "management" style is to delegate almost everything, but the big "decisions" are his. They may be manipulated by the smarter aides around him, but he THINKS he's the one making them.

Its too easy not to give Bush enough credit. He's smarter than he looks and talks.........that makes him even more dangerous.
