I agree with your last couple of sentences. I, a former Republican, don't want a Republican Congress or President this next time around, because I don't trust them to represent my interests anymore. It was a waste of American money and soldiers. That's why I like the Clinton-era wars. We went in with our planes and bombed the shit out of our enemies and didn't lose any soldiers and fought wars on the cheap. I like that much better than these land wars. I still would have taken Saddam out and I'd still call for the bombing of Iran, if we can't work through the UN to get a resolution to this nuke impasse though.
