8:22PM Silicon Storage cuts 1Q rev forecast, reaffirms EPS view (SSTI) by Gabriel Madway
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Silicon Storage Technology Inc. (SSTI) late Monday lowered its fiscal first-quarter revenue forecast to a range of $108 to $112 million from its previous range of $117 million to $132 million. The lowered revenue forecast is primarily due to weaker-than-expected demand for certain applications, as well as supply chain constraints, the company said. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based maker of computer memory products still expects fiscal first-quarter earnings of 7 cents to 12 cents a share.
