I didn't say you did. And you have a valid question. Unlike I or Harris, Dubya wasn't raised with "others". His only contact with minorities would have been as hired help. If that. He went to elite, private schools, in and out of state.


Exactly. And what does it say when politicians gerrymander a state to the point where most of the poor and minorities are represented by Republican white folks? One of the reasons that some white politicians get exasperated with politicians of color is because they don't seem to talk and think like the white politicians.........and that's because they think and talk like their constituents.

The ideal would be a politician of color who thinks like his or her constituents but can think and talk like a white politician when necessary. Of course, then he or she runs the risk of being thrown in jail. <g>
