Back when people still smoked in restaurants, my wife spoke to a man next to us who was smoking. "Excuse me. Your smoke is going right into my face," she said. "That's the way the air currents take it," he said. "Would you please put out your cigarette," she said. "It's bothering me." He grumbled, but put out the cigarette. That is not a problem any more where we live. I've heard of towns that are outlawing smoking even outside. I don't support that. You never get cooperation from people by denying them the right to make choices about what they do.
