The govt programs give women below a certain income a financial benefit to keep having more. It doesn't make sense to give a financial incentive for people to have increasingly more children, e.g. there are federal programs where if a women has 8 or more children and earns 70k or less, she gets certain free benefits. I'd rather see a program where a couple is encouraged to have their first child, rather than keep encouraging those with a lot of children to keep having more. I never understood the Dem concept where you take from a young couple that's starting out and trying to save to have their first child, only to give it to a woman that already has 8. That's backwards, if you ask me. Regards, Amy J
