There has never been a doubt in my mind as to the usefulness of this storage system.Just consider wind farms popping up all over...does it make sense to put that power in the grid a 4 in the morning?The Ontario government has just answered the question ...paying a premium of 42 cents a KWR for solar because it is produced in day light hours...when it is needed most

Yes they are , and many others...of course the math has to be done for each situation but at roughly 9 times base price for solar to the grid tells it all, and points the way to electrical storage to smooth out the peaks so that billions do not have to be sunk into nuclear plants.
