Bookmark to ignore ratio.....??? lol In my experience most people find the truth a bit hard to take when it gets stuck in their face....those who speak to truth I'm willing to bet would have a high ignore to bookmark ratio......hardly surprising...SI is overrun with those who can not face the truth when they hear it and/or have a ridiculously inflated opinion of self worth who get rather testy when its pointed out.....and then there are the cowardly types...Of course, that is not universally true....a lot of the nutcases like American Spitbot have a lot of ignores but then that's another story..... J.

You just described your father as an emotionally wounded alcoholic (+PTSD). I recall you've used the terms mentally ill and abusive to characterize your mother online in the past. So when you said what you did about your Dad, well I thought that makes it two for two for a dysfunctional family. Counseling might be good advice under the circumstances. I would hope you wouldn't let the fact the suggestion comes from someone you dislike discourage you. I wouldn't have mentioned it but you've also posted that you're a parent. So there's more than you to consider. ALL the people who have you on ignore are misguided liberals who don't want to hear your "message". Oh, of course. First I do think liberals are misguided. Second I sincerly doubt anyone who isn't a liberal would put me on ignore. I don't think even you think that. I don't care what my ignore ratio to anything is. If you want you can PM all the Sioux Nation posters and ask them all to put me on ignore. Then my ignore ratio will be even higher - but it won't bother me one bit. Why no mention of my banned thread number?
