You know couple enginners who got several job offers... therefore you extrapolate that to meaning there's an engineering shortage and plenty of jobs in the US. I'm in the field and have been for over 20 years so I think I know a little more about it. For someone with a PHD in statistics you take amazing liberites with extropolation from a small sample.
