Limbaugh was the main rabblerouser in the 90's in rural areas, trying to drum up massive hatred and distrust of the government. Of course it was strictly for far rightwing partisan reasons. As soon as Bush-cheney came into power, Limbaugh acted as if the government can do no wrong, even spying on us illegally and telling us when we can unplug our terminal loved ones, no problemo. You remember when some people blamed Limbaugh and the Oklahoma City bombing simply because he was ramping up the hatred vs. the government. He was partly responsible.
