Dale like Sioux threw me off in a matter of days. And believe i wasnt ranting like i am today--i was on my best behaviour. Ask the South African, how his family trated blacks before mandella? I had a canadian friend who chastised the US for the mistreatment of blacks. This was back in the60s. I once criticized canada for mistreating its french speakers and he jumped all over me. As he put it the french canadians were sub human. Mike PS its good to have you here peter. Both ionesco and kl are abomidations.

"You mostly post on subjects with the lunatic fringe left." The above was about me and it was wrong. Dale is not the thread. I am not the thread. There are plenty of people on the thread who could not be defined as "lunatic left". I have no interest in listing them personally, because that would make THEM the subject, and imo, it isn't right to make posters the subject of our commentary. That is one mistake that was made about me- while there are others, I don't care to make myself a subject for you, because (imo) I am really NOT your business. Ideas, facts- I think those are proper subjects- but I don't think tearing apart other posters is. That's just a quirk of mine, I suppose. It certainly appears to be, but it's a quirk I have grown comfortable with, and a quirk I would like to see spread. There is no reason to tear others down. If your ideas are superior, it is enough to mention your ideas; one need not attack the messenger of competing ideas, and in fact, that weakens whatever message you think you have. There is no purpose served by hostility and aggression- save for encouraging hostility and aggression.
