Of course the free market can handle everything. But not for free.

If wages go up, prices go up. And some jobs go away forever. And some businesses fold up forever.

If you don't care, fine, you don't care. But let's not kid ourselves about the costs.

Let's see.....

We've gone from 4 million illegal immigrants when Reagan was in office to 11-12 million (at least that is the line someone is feeding us) today, yet here we have it. A head of lettuce costs me almost a dollar more today than it did in the 80s. And that is just one example. I thought all these illegal immigrants, who were willing to do the jobs Americans wouldn't, were going to keep prices down? Or have we had that much inflation?
