The Demo's for years have been screaming about saving SSI until Bush comes up with a plan then they scream that there is nothing wrong with the present system and Bush is trying to throw old people under the bus. They are so partisan at this point that they will go opposite the Republicans even if it means not agreeing with their own positions. There is no hope. We are too stupid and lazy to vote the bum's out of office and they are just lining their own pockets and assuming they will be dead when the country implodes.
