c2, A twofold response. First, the exchange between Karen and I was reasonably civil. Like many of our exchanges it's clear that she likes/needs a great deal more detail than I do. Fine. This time I provided a lot but it wasn't enough. Certainly there were low level frustrations on both our parts. But it was a very small deal so far as I'm concerned. I have no doubt she and I will talk again about other topics. Both because we both enjoy talking about these issues and, generally, find one another's posts worth pursuing for more info. As for as your imputed "pattern," it's been clear for some time on SI that my posts give ardent right wing posters a problem. So be it. And that the response has been, like much of our politics today, to do personal attacks. I think it best that you and I observe Dale's request and simply ignore one another.
