Ted, Is INTC's revenue still mostly reliant on PC chip sales?

Yes, definitely. Intel is still a 2nd-tier player in communication and networking chips, although Intel does have a few strong chips in its portfolio (XScale, for example).

Intel spent just too much time and too much money on boosting their technologywise inferior "Centrino" platform to gain a leading market share against BRCM and ATHR in WLAN.
The INTC disease is contagious and has so far hurt Dell the most.
While doing that they forgot to defend their market position in the core business based on complacency vs. their "inferior" competitor AMD.

Pretty classic and thus easy event stuff to understand and explain.
