What are you talking about DAK. The pope said being gay is "evil"!! Many other churches feel the same way.

Secondly, neither you nor I have the right to speak for gays.

They want the right to marry with all the rights involved. I have a zillion gay friends and know!!

Most states do not allow it. Besides being a normal wish which almost all people want (even I married-lol) there are legal rights connected to it.

The simple fact which you seem to not quite grasp is that the only reason they are not allowed to marry is because they are different. So most churches call their love an abomination and we as a culturre make them outcasts.

That is about as analagous to segregation as it gets.

Your logic is failing you.

Gays want to get married and they should be allowed to.

Period. Pretty simple when not convoluted with psycobable-lol.
