The Vet re KRY, Again, I don't think Chavez is against Americans only, he has a gripe with the capitalist system. He is using his grudge to mask the very poor job he has done in Venezuela. Despite oil income, Chavez has managed to waste it and focus on his Bolivarian revolution, ignoring the poverty in his country. The country risk remains very high for as long as Chavez clings to power. It is amazing that he would try to gain political points with one time discounts on oil for a small group of Americans, while there are so many poor people in his own back yard which he is ignoring. Besides the country risk, you are correct to highlight the poor management of KRY's affairs over the past several years, while insiders raked in salaries, bonuses etc which were higher than for very large income earning companies. KRY managed to fail just about every project they undertook, failing to deliver on promises, while shareholders took a hit time after time. The fact that they still shum the stock should be an alarm for unsuspecting would be shareholders. While Gold Reserve has been criticized in the past, they have delivered far better that Crystallex.
