When was in Vegas, I was taken to "a great Texmex place". It wasn't. A Monterey House with cat heads in the dumpster would beat it, hands down...

I've had TexMex in TX numerous times......never in CA. I think TexMex has more starch to it than CA Mex. That's why I prefer CA Mex. And if Taro is right about the jalopeños, its another reason for my choice. I think its what you experience first........in LA, guys from TX were always pining for TexMex. <g>
