I think the right to be left alone is an important right. I worry that with all the data mining going on that right is going out the window. I think data mining allows unfortunate sieving and searching of very personal information of innocent people, or people for whom no probable cause exists. I don't like TIA.

I think free speech zones are ridiculous. Free speech doesn't mean anything if it's in a "zone". Fencing off protestors from events that are "public" is wrong- imo.

I think the obstructions of the FOIA are a corrosion of our freedom to know what our government is up to. One of our civil liberties is the liberty of living in an open government- I don't like to see that infringed upon.

There are a few examples off the top of my head.
