I would like to see the government require each immigrant (legal or illegal) be required to carry a special ID card until they attain citizenship. Wouldn't work unless everyone carried one, not just the immigrants. Otherwise immigrants up to no good could just pose as citizens.

SCHOOL'S OUT for immigration demonstration. Cards? Cards??? We don't need no steenking cards. The basic problem here is they DON WANT NO "Illegal" Immigration. They being kids, mexicans, poor people, democrats, businessmen, sympathetic folks, drug users, politicians, etc. These people DON WANT NO STEENKING CARDS or LAWS against ILLEGAL things. Only people think like you are law abiding honest citizens. And it's not that big a problem for you to stand up against all these other folks.
