PP's unless the company is pre-public or you are an accredited investor have to be minimum of either 90K or 150K. They are got directly from the company. You don't generally buy them through a broker. They are called non-brokered if that is the case. They can go thru brokers however.

PP's have restrictions as EC posted, but there are also some
lesser used ways to qualify, depending on Province. Quite a
long list actually.

Jr's open these placements only for certain Provinces and you
might check the particular details for your Province.

PP,s - depend on the company. You can get in for a small amount if the company is willing to do the paper work. I have got in with as little as 2 grand and was turned down by AUN even though I offered 10 grand. AUN was willing to consider 20 grand , but I was not.
As long as you are accredited there is no dollar amount necessary to participate in a PP. Otherwise you need about 100 grand to toss around.

DNT has a PP going right now that I would like a piece of. I was also told at the Vancouver show by one company that they would let me know when their next PP was going to occure.

Where you can get burned is seed stock. This is the first stock that gets created when a company is formed. It is great when the company gets listed and 1000 % profits within 2 years is not all that unusual. But if they do not get listed - you have to do a form 50 and get the stock declared as being worth nada. I got one of those deals that has yet to go public.

It also depends how hot the market is. It is easier to get a PP in a cold market than hot.

I have a Cannacrap account - just to take down their PP paper. In the last month I have yet to see a PP listed on their site. A good broker will let you know about what ever PP their firm is doing. My broker is not worth the hair gel he has plasterred on his head.

take care

DJE ? - News flow sucks , but the structure of the company says that it is being set up for something better.
