Yep, the Dims are spineless weasels. To top it all off, the media has consistently handed him a "get out of jail free" card. When you read an article about how Bush has "finally" stabilized his job approval rating...

Well, yeah. Compared to the freefall it was in before, only losing a point or two is stable. I suppose.

Part of it pragmatic... when the Reps impeached Clinton, there was a backlash. That's why the Reps are saying "you elect a Dem congress, they will impeach Bush". That's the spin to mobilize the base.
