gg,
Yes despite all the waste I've seen I'm still in favour of fixing the public over the US model. Fervently so.

As to childish well there are many who would concur with Andrew... I think frustration is a far better word... It is more childish to dismiss the view out of hand as 'childish' IMHO ... One only need look at the regional disparities within our own country re: healthcare and then how about the issue of being 'connected'... The tiresome thing is that in the 32 years I've had the franchise the only 'solution' from the pro public healthcare camp seems to be 'throw more money at it' ... and a resignation that we just have to live it.... Here is an extreme example of the waste... but unfortunately not rare on multiple smaller scales..... but very common... cbc.ca It would make me cry I bet to know how many 'healthcare' dollars were wasted on empire building and 'software'... (I have a good anecdotal handle from being in the business in a former life) ... think of the gun registry as not significant would surely be my bet......

It's Doggie time...

Al
