No, it is not a news fact that Rumsfeld is pathetic. Rumsfeld is Sec of Defense for the United States of America. He is also a political figure that you and others have strong feelings about.

Yet in a NY Times news article, he should be represented by what he says and does, not how you or the writer feel about him.
