I certainly hope they remain focused and out of the wireless arena, other than to offer support. Intel has been blowing smoke with this "WiMax" deal for some time. I don't buy it.

Of course there is a segment of the market that will accept improved "hot spots", but I can't grasp how they intend to compete in the mobile sector with unlicensed spectrum. My engineer friends think that Intel is full of it...we will see.

With a 60-40 market share split, I can now understand your statement that AMD may be under priced. Heck, even a 70-30 on a permanent basis would support higher P/Es, I would think.
