Mas- "there have been consistently two distinguishing features said of K8L, twice FP capability and L3 cache"

According to who? AMD has never said this. Charlie has talked about this coming in 2007 and has used the name K8L, but it strikes me as very strange, even bad news, that this would appear as the first 65nm product. Too risky and I don't think AMD will do this. The K8L on your roadmap could be something different from Charlie's K8L.

I think there will be some hints at the CC, because someone is sure to bring up Conroe.
