The Republican party has adopted the stupid evangelical vote, once spurned by BOTH parties. They thought they could use them, but now realize they've promoted one of them to President through the wizardry of modern marketing and PR and smear and fear politics. Now, many Republicans are realizing that their party BELONGS to these clowns. Look at John McCain, currently grovelling for their votes! The small government Republicans are treated like irrelevancies - where are they going to go?
