the bay area is a wild card. We had a deep technology recession to deal with at the exact same time as the housing bubble. So we got increased prices here during the period but nothing like the triples you say in places like Phoenix, or Florida. We had a huge RE bubble here in the 90s when other places didn't so we were rising off a higher base.

I don't know whats going to happen here. We may not fall much, although there is MUCH MORE on the mkt in my area now, because stocks are finally picking up. I just don't know.
