Geode, those are good ideas but before the status quo changes the "silent majority" must feel the need to pay attention. That won't happen until our lives are materially and adversely affected in ways that are obvious to many of us. Maybe then we'll tune out American Idol and spend a some time analyzing and worrying about the underpinnings of a corrupt and inefficient government.

But then I'm an optimist. g. Ed
