Bushies ignored the post Katrina problems for everyone but giving Halliburton a huge no-bid contract. That happened on the first day. How could they move so fast on a deal that huge? The Katrina victims were not only poor blacks but millions of poor and middleclass whites.; Even rich whites got poor treatment. basically the entire Bush White House was inept. And much of the reason is that they've pout 90% of their energies and resources into the hopeless boondoggle and quagmire which is Bush's war in Iraq, a war which he continues to lie to us about.
