But let's remind ourselves that the Soviets held power and advanced the cause of world Communism for over 70 years. It only succeeded due to this It required tremendous amounts of treasure, and considerable blood being spilled throughout the globe to contain and finally discredit the ideology. Thats what I'm trying to point out. Most the money and blood only helped prolong the problem. We are making the same mistake with the Islamo-Facists, Castro, Chavez, etc. They only have a cause as long as we obligingly hand them one. Everyone will realise they are idiots, once we stop acting like a more terrifying one.
