Plead your cyanide case to the governor and citizens of the State of Montana. <g> It amazes me to see that ban from The Governor that goes on 60 minutes to propose strip mining the heck out of his state to get some coal, to pump additional CO2 into the atmosphere. Apparently it isn't a mining hostile state, prolly just a few well-intentioned types ignorant of the scientific facts. Perhaps the more insidious poisons in our environment we used to kill insects could be examined. Be careful what you wish for..... As a scientist one needs to argue these cases on the FACTS and on good science. I'll leave my comments at that as to not clog this board with personal views on science, ignorance and policy. Perhaps mining companies will have to become innovative and figure out how to make Thiosulfate work for places like MT? H3
