Oft repeated tales only develop a reality for people who want to fill the vacuum of their thoughts with something unprocessed. I don't see the point in going after those people. They will simply latch on to another, equally spurious, thought, and then you will just have to do the whole exercise over again. But hey- that's me. That's why I don't bother. If you enjoy it, or find it worthwhile, fine. You asked why leftists don't go after AS- and I answered, as someone from the left. There are numerous people I won't go after- for the same reason I don't go after AS- it just isn't worth the waste of my time (imo). I don't speak for all people of the left, of course- but there really aren't that many lefties here, on this thread. But I used to agree with you- and I used to try. SI made me think differently about this.

Without commenting on what follows, i think the charges that McCain was mad, that Cleland blew himself up and that somehow makes his condition worthy of derision, and that kerry's servive was less than satisfactory is more of the same. Perhaps the rt wing reaps what rove sewed? I am sure others might come up with closer comparisons. Hillary did shoot vince foster, no?? Or Hillary didnt wear panties in the WH and she frequently made that painfully obvious. All that stuff was going around when clinton was pres and i am sure if hillary gets the nomination this will be brought up again. Who was it that charged that Laura Bush deliberately killed an old boyfriend in that car accident. and so it goes.
