After the Counter-Reformation, Catholics are allowed to read the Bible in the vernacular and have a personal relationship with God, too. ;^) Although, it's true, we do have to toe the "party line" more than Protestants. As for Muslims, it's too hard for me to get inside their heads -- I have a hard enough time understanding fundamentalist Protestants! But it does seem that some of the things some of them do are clearly intended to be terroristic, from 9/11 to beheading Western civilians in Iraq on video. Apparently Moussaoui relishes hearing about the agony of the victims of 9/11.
