Some gamers do, some just want a PC because of the MUCH wider choice of available games. Most gamers don't own Alienware - I know many of them. Many, like me, just own vanilla PC's. Some, like me, used to own Macs.

I don't think gamers are going to rush en mass to the Mac platform, but it's at least THERE now, where it wasn't before. For someone who plays games, it's not as much of a consideration as before. Not for me, anyway.

PC Gamers HATE MAC, most gamers like to totally build their machines to their own specs from MB up. Price is rarely an issue. In fact the latest enhancement for gamers are called Physics Engine boards. I don't see them in any Mac any time soon.
