I think the Congress is trying to slither some amnesty through with bogus lies. Dunno if I'm in the majority on that.

If they don't repeal the drop the baby law it's a moot point anyway. 2/3s of illegals kids are american citizens. Eventually they will get their parents/families in.
And the American taxpayer is footing the bill in the meantime with school tuition, medical, other social services.

Ireland was the last country in the EU to repeal that "baby" law. They must think the USA is an gullible nation, no?

Go after employers? They are voters, campaign contributors. Humm.

After repealing the baby law...
First thing you do is make the Police enforce the laws and have no sanctury cities. Police right now can't even ask for a green card without having some criminal action first.

RE:"indeed the real disaster was allowing this huge wave of illegals working for next to nothing...."

First they work cheap but what eventually happens is that the locals get lazy and turn into "owners/managers" and the price illegals charge gets higher and higher.

>>my answer to that guy is that ANY job that pays substandard wages based on illegal immigration deserves what it gets...this is the worst kind of 'corporate welfare' to date...'help me, federal gov't , because i won't/can't pay a competitive wage'

what a bunch of bolded BS

indeed the real disaster was allowing this huge wave of illegals working for next to nothing....<<

Agree.....totally. The Mexicans need to go back to Jalisco, and address the critical tequila shortage ASAP.
