"one has to enlist in a gang in order to allegedly have a relationship with God" But that is not the case Searle. I belong to no gang or assembly but I do have a personal relationship with Christ. Now the great news- He has given me a helper, THe Holy Spirit. I ask him to be my guide, to lay my paths out straight before me, and to bless me and protect me and he does. For that loving relationship I promise to do God's will as He makes it known to me. He has used me a few times, once it was a matter of life and serious injury-possibly even death of a small girl. The timing was perfect. He placed me in a spot that I never intended to go and the split second timing enabled me to catch this little girl when she was in free fall to the pavement. But that is not all. He has proven to me that he is real. He has taken away my fear and most of my anger which was a terrible thing to behold. That is only a minute bit of what he accomplishes for me every day. I give him my life in the morning and thank him at night. I want you to have that kind of experience. Just consider having a friend like that. James
