Fine, try that question. I'd suggest simplifying it. Something to the effect of, "do you think we should launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack against Iran because we're afraid they'll use nuclear weapons against Israel?"

I'd love to know whether the lady who cuts your hair and the guy who changes your oil and the kid who sells you a cup of coffee think that's a good idea.

What a joke: <Asked whether the Islamic Republic would use an "oil weapon", Mr Vaeedi said: "We will not [do so now], but if the situation changes, we will have to review our oil policies."> What are they going to do, stop supplying and cut off their cash flow? Not likely. They need the money more than Americans [or other customers] need the oil. USA consumers can afford to outbid other countries for other oil supplies, so it isn't that SUV owners will go without.

They might do without though, as the price will go higher and they might decide walking is quite pleasant. Or maybe they'll buy a bicycle Made in China for a low price.

Iran is dopey. If oil is a weapon, it's more that the USA will refuse to buy from them, or refuse to let them move it through pipelines or by sea. The oil weapon is in the hands of the USA, not Iran. Though both would prefer the oil to keep flowing [Greenhouse Effect notwithstanding].
