Isn't it possible that these generals are criticizing Rumsfeld because the present policy and use of force has not been successful? And was adopted against the recommendations of some senior generals who, perhaps, were closer to the truth about the number of boots on the ground needed and other elements of the Iraq war?

I know, Sewer rat, etc. But do answer the question.

Major-General John Batiste say we need leadership which respects the military.

Lieutenant-General Newgold calls for replacing Rumsfeld and many other unwilling to fundamentally change their approach.

Major-General Paul Eaton says Rumsfeld is "incompetent-strategically, operationally and tactically."

You guys pretend to not get it.
