We all know what happens to a shipwreck who is trying to keep afloat by placing one feet on a floating plank and the other foot on another floating plank. Very soon the planks go their own away and the man falls in the water. Straight and simple right.

That should help you understand why Bush and you are not successful in either. No Osama, no Iraq.

To your question on "HOW big did you want the ongoing effort to get Osama to be?" I would say whatever it takes. The US is a mighty nation. It can quickly mobilize all the resources to go and get Osama. But Bush was reluctant to do so and instead split it between Iraq and Osama.
