Always have! Remember eve took an apple from the tree of
knowledge-lol.

Frank Luntz a republican pollster told the dems do not bring up religion if people care about religion they will vote republican-lol.

Cheney talked about how crazy the Iranian guy was referring to his religousosity "gods halo around the head when he talked to un", and was completely blind ot the fact bush is messianic.

So they see the fairy tale in the other guys religion but not their own. Isn't that quaint-lol!

"Peru is a very religious state"

Not true, according to my Peruvian wife. Sure, they are all Catholics, but the Church has little influence in social or political matters. The problems with Peru are poverty and ignorance, which go hand in hand, and a terrible history of exploitation and oppression of the indigenous people, which has left a legacy of bitterness and suspicion. When the Spanish started mining gold and silver in a big way, people were conscripted to work under the ground, without coming up again. When they died more were sent down to take their places.
