Yep. I didn't like it then because I didn't see how that would solve the problem without greater border control. To no one's great surprise, it didn't. If they had managed to get control of the border, it would have been a fine idea. But, first things first.

Blame Bush-Delay for illegal immigration. They've been in charge for 5 years and have done next to nothing about it.

The reason is that Bush supports illegal immigration to as to supply cheap labopr top his corporate CEO and agribusiness owner cronies.

Also the rightwing cannot get anyone elected nationally without at least 35% of the Hispanic vote.
