Did Laura's parents have any special juice in the town? No they didn't. So who ordered the coverup? Do you have to descend to the depths of the swift boaters? I don't care for Dubya. Nothing he has done since he has arisen to my awareness has endeared him to me. And that is much longer for me than for you. Even so, I am not willing to demonize his wife and children on anything other than their actions. And none of them have risen to that. Unlike the the rabid right wing, I refuse to try to drag a politician's family into the tussle. Leave Laura and the twins out of it. Don't descend to the level of those who taunted Chelsea for being ugly, like Limbaugh. That is a longnshort move. Moronic, irrelevant and immaterial. Drop this. Ted isn't worth it. At best, he panicked and made bad decisions. Now personally, I think this was the case. Being a Kennedy at the peak of their influence, he could have gotten rid of a "problem" like Mary Jo with a ticket to Europe or Oregon and a check. No need for killing, which I don't think he had the guts for. He isn't your Senator. Why go out on a limb to protect him? Teddy isn't even particularly influential.
