LOL....this is just TOO much! Hitler fought no preemptive wars. He just attacked outright as the aggressor, like Al Qaeda. The definition of preemptive war is the same as attacking outright. Hitler had justification for every attack he made. He told his people that we must attack to protect national security. Everything in your last post is completely wrong headed and was already addressed in my previous post. I can't go round in circles with you. I now understand that you will from time to time post things that you do not agree with. To what end? To see if anyone is gullable? Orca

The difference between a lie and an error lies in the motivation more than the calculation. You've gone on record that you agree with the war in Iraq. We know your motivation. It's to supply propaganda which supports your position. Is it any wonder then that you would then post that propaganda from the SEP with no qualification what so ever? And you are also on record now, saying that you never believed what you posted to be true. Therefore you used a piece of information, which you yourself have stated now that you did not believe, to support your stated position on the war. So, to summarize, you stated something that you did not believe in support of your tightly held belief that the war in Iraq is a "good" war. Think about that. What motivates you? Are you looking here to clarify the situation? By posting information that you now say you disagree with...but this information supports your conclusions about the war. It's clear that you are motivated to say anything so long as it supports your war. That my friend fits neatly into my definition of a lie. You lie here to us on this board...and worse you lie to yourself. There's no lower place for you to go than lying to yourself. I suppose that if you lie to yourself often enough you will start to believe your own lies. Orca
