Peter, My eyesight is not degrading, but an accident in late 1999 cause the retina in the left eye to become detached. That could have been fixed, but I was in an unfamiliar place, and got an eye doctor that was supposed to be good, but he botched the job and removed every possibility for it to heal. He knew that he had done wrong, because when I tried to contact him again with the intention of getting some compensation for his mistake, he had gone for an unknown amount of time on vacation. It was right around Christmas time, and I believe he was drunk, but can't prove it.
