Ayn Rand believed that US is more likely to become fascist than socialist. In a socialist economy, the govt runs some business. In a fascist economy, the govt controls the bussiness (instead of running some). By controlling, they will demand the business to hire/price control/salary reduction for management etc... Modern day equivalent of war reparation will be the $ held by foreginers. This sowed the seed for Hitler then. This time, it could be some democrat party leader? I'm not too paranoid at this time ... but hey, anything can happen:)-
