Jim, I read the same article earlier today and, while it's clear and understandable on its own, I failed to see the author's gripe. If his position were based on the negative effects of pushing the distance envelope - e.g., by increasing the radius of an access point frequency reuse could conceivably be threatened - then I would at least have a sense of where he's coming from. But he doesn't. Where do you see the merit to his argument, assuming you do? Perhaps I'm just not seeing something that is very obvious. FAC
